At 41, I'm still working on my first novel. It's a challenge--that which is my biggest passion, is also my biggest fear. This journal is a record of my struggles and successes as I push forward to actually write and stop dreaming.

My day job is as managing editor for a publishing company that produces 5 trade magazines. I love my job--but I still dream about writing novels full time.
