What an incredible weekend. I went to a conference in Montreal for work. The conference was great and so was having some down time in my hotel room to get some writing done. Unfortunately, I was out with a migraine for one of the days, but I think I wrote somewhere in the area of 2,500 words or so. A nice jump for me.

I haven't had a chance to transcribe all of the work yet, so I'll update my WIP bar once I do.

This week is still super busy (actually right through to the end of the month), but I will make the time to do some writing every day... even if it's just one word.

Over to books. I just picked up a copy of The Kite Runner, by Khaled Hosseini. Has anyone read it yet? It's on the NY Times best seller list and I've heard a lot about it. I'd love to hear your opinion if you have read it.

If not, what are you reading? Do you recommend it?
